This session assists public safety agencies to continue service delivery during a pandemic. The presentation begins with an overview of H1N1 and H5N1 pan flu, a historical review of the morbidity and mortality incidence and a discussion of likely morbidity and mortality of a future event. The session will give a brief overview of personnel protective measures. Learn measures that can be taken to address surges in call volume as a result of the pandemic and considerations for maintaining service delivery in the face of decreased resources and supply chain instability.
