Technology has evolved over the years in its use and importance to the overall public safety mission. Technology has become the silent partner, enhancing capabilities, and helping to stretch thin resources.
This presentation will provide an overview of several ongoing and emerging technology programs, which have significant potential to support Federal, State and Local Public Safety in their various mission roles to include critical incident planning and response. The presentation will also cover several of the Public Safety technology programs of the U.S. Department of Justice/National Institute of Justice and how Public Safety can leverage this work as well as get assistance in their technology endeavors.
