Mark Rasch is director of Cybersecurity and Privacy Consulting for CSC. He is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy for growing the cybersecurity and privacy consulting practice in CSC.
Rasch’s career spans more than 25 years of corporate and government cybersecurity, computer privacy, regulatory compliance, computer forensics and incident response. He is a lawyer and recognized author of numerous security- and privacy-related articles.
Prior to CSC, Rash was president and co-founder of Secure IT Experts, an information security and privacy consulting company. Before that, he held managing director and senior vice president positions at various consulting firms.
Earlier in his career, Rasch was with the U.S. Department of Justice where he led the department’s efforts to investigate and prosecute cyber and high-technology crime, starting the computer crime unit within the Criminal Division’s Fraud Section, efforts which eventually led to the creation of the Computer Crime and Intellectual Property Section of the Criminal Division.
He earned his juris doctor from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law and a bachelor’s degree in political science from the State University of New York at Albany.
