Grant funding for homeland security purposes is available for law enforcement, first responder and community organizations for the enhancement of the capacity of state and local organizations. The funding is provided for preparation, prevention and response to terroristic attacks and other disasters. This presentation will provide an overview of types of funding, eligible applicants as well as allowable projects, programs, tools and technology. You will also learn grant writing tips, tools and resources for developing and submitting a competitive grant application. You will be able to:
