Dr. Thomas Pratt

Dr. Thomas Pratt earned a BA in Geology from Cornell and Masters and PhD in Geophysics from Virginia Tech. In 1991, he joined the USGS earthquake to lead the project imaging active faults. In the past 20 years, he has led seismic hazard studies in the Pacific Northwest, the central and eastern US, Alaska, and Panama. He now focuses on earthquake hazards of the central and eastern United States.
