Gregory Bennett is a retired Lieutenant from the Middlesex County (NJ) Sheriff’s Office.  While working, he served as the agency’s sole instructor for all Homeland security and Terrorism training offered to the members.  He is also a NJ State Certified Hazardous Materials On-Scene Incident Commander, and has been a fire fighter since 1986.  He has over 13 years of experience as a Chief Officer, including 7 as Chief of Department in Helmetta.  He also works as a Fire Instructor in NJ, and has 7 years of experience in Emergency Management as a Deputy and a Coordinator. 

Bennett authored a book entitled “Cross Training for First Responders” which was published in 2010.  He is an Advisory Board Member to GovSec since 2007 and he holds numerous certifications and teaching credentials having presented this course in several states to date.  He now works as an Emergency Response Specialist for EHS-Excellence Consulting.
