National Anthem Performer
The National Anthem is performed by Holly Tucker, one of NBC’s The Voice Top 6 contestants from Season Four (2013). A full-time student at Baylor University - where she plays the saxophone in the marching band - Holly has been singing since she was three years old. She also plays the guitar and piano and strives to "present songs, not simply sing them."
In 2012, Holly won “D & D’s Got Talent” of the Northeast Tarrant Chamber of Commerce and Waco local FOX 44’s pre-American Idol competition, Central Texas Idol. In 2011, Holly was voted Solo/Duo Act of the Year, and Female Vocalist of the Year, by the Music Association of Central Texas (MACT), at their annual Groovy Awards Show, in Waco, Texas. Later that year, she won the prestigious John Ritter Memorial Tribute Showcase of the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame, in Carthage, Texas.
