Security officers are often subjected to potentially violent confrontation. Officers have been assaulted, injured, even killed in the performance of their duties. Few organizations or employers take the time or have the necessary skills to properly prepare their employees to recognize, control, or manage aggressive persons.

This session addresses the need for better screening, proper training, and basic steps necessary to prevent injury, de-escalate confrontation, protect officers and others who rely on them to do so.
